We used the year 2021 to further improve our 4*s family resort. Proven Petschnighof traditions remain, but living and wellness areas get a chic relaunch.

Our Kinderhotel Petschnighof in the south of Austria is an exceptional place. For us, nature is not only a backdrop, but also a habitat, and we see ourselves as part of it. Experience for yourself during your family vacation the effect of living in and with nature.
The Petschnighof is situated traffic-free and quiet in the middle of mountains, forests and meadows. The magnificent panorama and the dreamlike surroundings invite you to relax and actively spend your vacation. In addition to horseback riding, hiking, mountain biking and tobogganing , you can, depending on the season, use our nearby natural lake for Swimming or ice skating .
Your children will romp around the adventure playground or visit the
Adventure farm
with a variety of animals in need of petting.
For adults our Wellness offer offers a well-deserved break from everyday life. Pure deep relaxation comes with a massage. We will find a suitable, individual application for you.

Your little ones are especially close to our hearts as a Carinthian children’s hotel. Our professional child care offers our youngest guests exciting activities every day. On our adventure farm, children can pet many animals to their heart’s content and encounter nature again.
The Petschnighof is ideal for your Riding vacation with the whole family or for a sporty outdoor program with hiking and mountain biking in summer. Winter also offers a lot of fun with ice skating, tobogganing or cross-country skiing with a fantastic natural scenery.
A relaxing vacation also includes time out, relaxation and feel-good moments. As parents, you can enjoy this in our wellness oasis while your children are well taken care of. The Petschnighof pampering program is made complete by the culinary offer of the kitchen team: enjoy the refined regional specialties and convince yourself of the high organic quality of the in-house products .

Organic quality to enjoy and give away
Homemade specialties from farm products
Farming has always been practiced at the Petschnighof. We have maintained this also in our development into a family hotel. We are acertified organic farm and produce sustainable specialties.
The game meat for our products is 100% obtained by our 5 family hunters themselves. This allows us to guarantee the highest quality, shortest transport routes and regionality.
According to traditional recipes and with a lot of experience we produce at Petschnighof game products (game salami, poacher’s sausage, herb sausage, deer raw ham), meat products (bacon, pancetta), spirits (Swiss stone pine schnapps, herbal schnapps), ointments (forest fairy ointment, marigold ointment), oils (St. John’s wort oil, arnica oil) and herbal salt. Our offer is supplemented by products of regional farmers. The Petschnighof specialties can also be purchased as enjoyment packages and given as gifts.
