Petschnighof is guaranteed to offer the perfect riding experience for every guest: grooming and feeding horses , pony rides, horseback rides, improving dressage and jumping techniques. We are happy to fulfill wishes and design your individual riding program.
Our riding school is characterized by an educational approach. Therefore, all ages, from kindergarten children to the 60 plus generation, are taught appropriately.
For us, riding does not just mean sitting on the groomed horse and going for a ride. It is important for us to learn to understand horses as independent beings. Working with a horse on a daily basis, we learn a lot about our body and body language. We also have the chance to perceive our feelings because the horse reflects them to us.
The children learn how to handle the horses in a playful way. Perfect for beginners to lay an optimal foundation for further riding.
Riding skills are further improved in individual or group lessons
To create a good teaching and learning atmosphere, we keep the groups as small as possible. In the lessons we work on the good seat as a prerequisite for correct aids. We are particularly interested in meeting riders where they are at the moment. Everyone should be able to achieve their goals at their own pace.
Guided horseback rides from 60 minutes to full day excursions with picnic.

In summer, our 11 riding horses are outdoors with enthusiasm. Explore with them the most beautiful places of the natural environment of the Petschnighof. Riding lessons take place on the modern riding arena next to our riding stable. Your individually designed riding vacation on our organic farm in Austria will be an unforgettable vacation experience.
Whether you are just learning to ride or already have experience: In our stable you will find the right horse for every level. In our riding school experienced riding instructors give lessons for all ages. So children and adults can spend a wonderful summer in Carinthia and a lot of time with our horses.
The riding lessons can be booked individually or in a group if desired. In any case, we focus on the individual needs of the participants. Also taught is the proper handling and care of the horses.
